Test Operator - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

12-Month Contract Afternoon Shift Position 􀂱 3:30 pm to 12:00 am


The Test (ICT/FP) Operator is responsible for operating the ICT (In Circuit Testing) and the (FP) Flyer Probe machines, including troubleshooting as required. This is a 12-month temporary fixed term contract reporting to the Test Supervisor or the Production Supervisor/Manager.



  • Maintain the test schedule and coordinate with supervisors and other leaders to meet delivery schedules. 􀁸

  • Perform assigned production steps as per work instructions. 􀁸

  • Ensure housekeeping and proper 5S (i.e. organizing, cleanliness, sorted, safety, etc.) is maintained at all times. 􀁸 Handle and store materials/boards using approved handling and electrostatic sensitive devices (ESD) guidelines. 􀁸

  • Will require occasional physical demands such as lifting of objects no more than 20 pounds at a time. 􀁸

  • Incumbent will be accommodating and flexible to other departments as business requirements dictate, and/or may be required to perform other duties within the job or production needs as assigned by his/her supervisor, manager or designate.


  • Completion of High School required. 􀁸

  • Good knowledge of electronic assemblies including through hole and SMT components, Schematics and BOMs (Bill of Materials). 􀁸

  • Demonstrated proficiency in using digital multi-meter, oscilloscope and other related test equipment. 􀁸

  • Solid knowledge of quality systems and ESD control. 􀁸

  • Flyer Probe machines (FP): 1 year (Preferred) 􀁸

  • Test Operator: 1 year (Preferred) 􀁸

  • IPC Standards and ISO 9002: 1 year (Preferred) 􀁸

  • In Circuit Testing (ICT): 1 year (Preferred) 􀁸

  • Police Background check required
