Materials Expeditor - Full-time

Permanent Position


Perform a variety of manual/administrative tasks associated with receiving operations, inventory control, expediting with vendors, and inspection of custom parts in accordance with established procedures. Receives, stores, and stocks materials, equipment, supplies, and parts. Compiles stock records. Requisitions standard items to replenish stock.



  • Receives and stores materials in a stockroom location.

  • Inspects custom materials in accordance with customer specifications

  • Delivers stockroom materials to internal and external customers.

  • Expedites component deliveries with suppliers

  • Interfaces with cross-functional teams regarding material status, including operations, Purchasing, and Program Management

  • Assists in organizing and managing stockroom.

  • Enters stockroom data in appropriate databases.

  • Assures compliance of stockroom procedures in handling customer-owned material.



  • Possesses physical strength necessary to lift and carry heavy boxes up to 35 lbs.

  • Ability to read and interpret Bill-of-Materials (BOMs).

  • Basic computer skills. ERP experience is preferred.

  • Exhibits strong organizational skills.

  • Pays close attention to detail.

  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.

  • Works well with a team.

  • Sound communication skills both written and verbal

  • Demonstrates ability to read and interpret invoices and packing slips.

  • Exhibits familiarity with proper safety procedures in the warehouse or stockroom.

  • High School or equivalent

  • Experience with IPC Standards and ISO 9001:2008 preferred
